Victim Notification Services
Prevail’s Victim Notification Program (VNP) serves to bridge the gap in communication between Hamilton County and victims of crime.
The VNP specifically provides notification when:
- Criminal charges have been filed
- The defendant is scheduled for a sentencing hearing
- The defendant is entering or leaving a specified program within the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office and Community Corrections (house arrest, work release, or jail).
The Victim Notification Advocate, also provides Court Support Services to any victim of violent crime in Hamilton and the surrounding counties (see Court Support Services tab for more information).
The VNP and Court Support Services were created to provide victims information and support during their journey within the judicial process. If you have been the victim of a crime and would like support or have questions regarding your case, please call Prevail and ask for the Victim Notification Advocate.
