Statistics

The following statistics give just a snapshot of the clients assisted and services provided from January 1 to December 31, 2010.

• Served 2,496 unduplicated clients - a 20% increase over 2009.
• 81% of clients were female; 19% male.
• Of those providing income information, 70% reported income under $25,000 with 56% reporting income under $5,000.
• 24% were under the age of 18.
• 85% come from Hamilton County, 7% from Marion County and the remaining 8% from other areas.
• For those from Hamilton County, 43% were from Noblesville, 19% from Carmel, 17% from Fishers, 8% from Westfield, 5% from Cicero with the remainder coming from other areas of the county.
• Most victims know their offender. For 42% it was a spouse or intimite partner, for 24% it was a family member, for 20% an aquaintance, 11% were dating and in only 3% of the cases was it a stranger.
• Did 430 protective order assessments and helped file 228 protective order requests.
• Answered 525 after-hours crisis line calls
• Provided employment assistance in 599 cases.
